Running a pruned node on a miniPC

About 2 months ago I started running a pruned MON node. As a test I have been running it on a MinisForum 8-core AMD (only running on physical cores), 48gb DDR5, and a fast 2TB NVMe.

Even underspecced CPU wise, the node has ran amazing. I understand the need for heavy specs for large infrastructure…but the sheer fact that this node runs as well as it does on a little less than half of the “minimum” CPU requirements is a MAJOR testament to how efficient the devs have made their system.

I posted a setup guide for how I’ve been running it with about a week’s worth of multiple daily system reports in PDF and .txt form on Reddit via GitHub and figured I’d post it here too in case anyone else was running similar experiments.

If I get enough interest I’ll make daily pushes to document things I run into along the way!

Keep killing it you guys! I love this chain!
