Just a thought of creating a fund specially focused on funding small events like meet ups, people doing crazy things, promoting creative ideas like wall art, custom artworks etc.
Lowkey want to create this fund with Monad in order to keep the community alive after the airdrop events, where its a very well known fact that engagement and overall community declines across social media. So this funds directly gives out funds without lengthy process to people who wants to do epic shit with $mon and keep the community alive.
Somethings can be:
- Murals around the globe by local Monad community
- Community meets up;i.e. sponsoring brunch to local community of builders worldwide.
- People doing epic shit like custom skateboards, artworks, structures.
- Supporting local communities to onboard new users, builders, students to Monad.
- Co-sponsoring local events like college hackathons, festivals etc.
- Micro grant challenges for ideas that bring new use cases for Monad
Just some ideas that I think would be suitable for a cultural impact that can keep the community alive. An efficient way to depoly funds to people rather than waiting for months via official challenge. I have an idea to implement this already in mind just want community feedback and general review on this.
